Singapore Traffic Police announces Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for Speed Limiters

Local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can apply for Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) to receive funding of up to 50% of the eligible costs, subjected to an annual grant cap of S$30,000 per financial year. Speed limiters will be supported for a time-limited period between 1 October 2025 and 31 March 2027, under the PSG.

Speed limiters reduce accidents caused by speeding, thereby lowering vehicle downtime and improving operational efficiency. By preventing speeding at the design level, companies can safeguard their drivers, protect their assets, and strengthen overall productivity.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible for the PSG grant, the company must meet these criteria:

  1. Business entity that is registered/incorporated in Singapore;
  2. Have at least 30% local shareholding;
  3. Company’s Group Annual Sales Turnover of not more than S$100 million, or Company’s Group Employment Size of not more than 200 workers;
  4. The applicant must engage an Authorised Agent for speed limiter installation;
  5. The applicant’s vehicle/s on which speed limiters are installed must be used in Singapore; and
  6. The company must not have made any payment/deposit to an Authorised Agent in relation to the installation of the speed limiter prior to application submission.

How to Apply

To apply for the PSG for speed limiter installation, you may:

  1. Get a quotation from an Authorised Agent
  2. Log in to Business Grants Portal (BGP) using Corppass to apply for the PSG.
