In a celebration for supply chain talent, dedication and impactful contributions, Transported Asset Protection Association Asia Pacific (TAPA APAC) presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Janet Wong during the Supply Chain Resilience & Sustainability (SCRS) Award for her outstanding,voluntary contribution and inspiring leadership in TAPA APAC Risk Assessment Standards (RAS) Working Group. SCRS is the conference and awards brand trademark owned by TAPA APAC.
As the Regional Fusion Center Manager at Project Argus, a company known for its innovative and dynamic full-stack platform for supply chain solutions, Janet is deeply passionate about supply chain and personal growth. Her contribution to the supply chain community reflects her strong dedication to raising the standards of the industry. This token recognizes Janet’s outstanding accomplishments and leadership in enhancing the resilience of global supply chains. She also moderated the risk assessment panel discussion at the SCRS Conference 2023 which was well attended by over 300 delegates across the region.
She played a pivotal role in leading the working group, driving team discussion and initiatives during the development of the Standard. Delving into the intricacies of best practices and requirements outlined in the TAPA RAS 2023, she supported the first TAPA RAS face-to-face training workshop, which took place in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 19 and 20, 2023. This highly sought-after training programme equipped more than 30 participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to identify, assess and mitigate various types of risks across their supply chains.
Janet’s noteworthy accomplishments are complemented by her role as a certified TAPA Authorized Auditor (AA) for three TAPA Standards – TAPA Risk Assessment Standards (RAS) 2023 Standard, TAPA Facility Security Requirements (FSR) 2020 Standards and the TAPA Truck Security Requirements (TSR) 2020 Standards. She has also recently achieved the TAPA Certified Specialist (TCS) recognition on December 1st, 2023, which is a professional certification by TAPA APAC and Singapore Institute of Material Management (SIMM) for supply chain knowledge, experience and industry qualifications.
